Formerly known as Bengaluru Central University, Bengaluru City University (BCU) is a state university in Gandhi Nagar and holds recognition from the University Grants Commission. Bengaluru City University has a 33-acre historic campus featuring modern academic and administrative facilities, including well-equipped labs, an activity centre, and a library. It also has separate hostels for both boys and girls.
